Boy we are busy! We have four reservations going in South Village right now! Three of them are Design-Build which is always exciting. While every home that we build is customized to its owners, a majority of owners find one of our proven floor plans that will work for them. For some clients though, they have very specific wants or needs, and to accommodate those wants and needs we offer a Design-Build service. While this service is exciting, it is like with many exciting things and it can be a lot of work! A lot of decisions go into the making of a home, and moving a wall 6” this way, or a window 6” that way can make a difference to how a space is utilized. We love it though. The design team loves to work with Clients to discover exactly how to make a home flow for them, and what parts of a house they want to focus on. Some want a three season porch, others are very concerned about storage, and some want to build a Master Bath to die for – everyone has their own individual tastes, and it’s exciting to be a part of a team that helps bring those into a reality.
It’s an exciting process. Every time we meet a new client it is an exciting time and the start of an exciting process. It gets even more exciting once we start building, and the most exciting part is of course when you get to move in! Next week we will have some great clients that will be closing on their new home.
Thistle Hill has a lot going on as well. Thistle Hill 26 will be closing soon, which is always exciting. The duplex unit in Thistle Hill has a lot going on and siding began this week with sheetrock going on inside.
We also have started digging for a custom home in Shelburne!
We definitely are busy and that is good. Designing, constructing, and building happy customers all along the way.
