The Sterling Homes Team recently traveled to Cincinnati for the Fall 2019 session of Master Builders hosted by the talented owners and staff at Michaelson Homes and Riverside Custom Cabinetry. The biannual event consists of an elite members invite-only group of construction industry leaders from the United States and Caribbean that gather to share learned experiences, engage in round-table discussions, best practices discussion forums, innovative construction techniques, the latest in applied technology and software, material sourcing and pricing, project reviews, site tours, vendor showcases and shared comradery. Sterling Homes gains valuable insight and beneficial takeaways from these ongoing twice a year opportunities to assist in their continued education and endeavors for improved procedures.
The Cincinnati session included a behind the scenes look at the Michaelson Homes offices and showroom as well as a tour of their in-house sister custom cabinetry and woodworking shop, Riverside Custom Cabinetry. Local activities hosted by Marc Michaelson included a fun team building excursion to the Indian Hill Winter Club to try their hand at the sport of “curling”, a golf cart caravan Project/Site Tour of a selection of Michaelson Homes current and past projects in the charming Terrace Park community, a BBQ catered dinner with live music and a stay at the historic Mariemont Inn which was constructed in 1925 and still welcomes guests today.
