This was a “sweet” couple of weeks for us over at Sterling! We had two birthdays in the office this week, and enjoyed brownies and apple crisp to celebrate! (If you talk to Nan or Eric, be sure to say Happy Birthday!) It was also sweet because at the end of last week we closed on a home in Thistle Hill, and has happy owners moving in! It’s always exciting to close on a home and see a family’s idea turn into a reality.
We also started a renovation project in Burlington. Renovations are always an adventure, this one is no different. It will be a lot of work, but at the end of it these folks with have a great home, complete with views down to the lake.
Two homes have had siding go up in the last couple weeks. One in Thistle Hill, one in South Village. What a transformation! The duplex that is going up in South Village has roofers there, windows in and things are moving quickly. The duplex in Thistle Hill is progressing well, too and really taking shape. And, we just signed a contract for a custom built home in Shelburne.
There are talks and plans being drawn for a home in South Village, as well as one in Thistle Hill. It will be exciting to see where those talks go and to hopefully be able to build homes for these wonderful people.
We don’t have any more birthdays in the office for a while, so we might just have to make some more apple crisp, just because. In the meantime, we’ll have to settle for a “sweet” week, being made by working with great people! Enjoy the foliage!
