September is a month that brings a lot of things – temperatures begin to get cooler, kids and teachers are back in school, Burlington is a-bustling with college kids back from summer break, and with Labor Day behind us, summer really is coming to an end. And, while I have never been a fan of summer ending, I’m thinking positive and trying to get excited for skiing this winter. Nan, our office manager has a birthday this month, as does Eric our estimator. Fall sports are underway, football is upon us and the Red Sox are in crunch time, and it is almost time for the leaves to change colors. So, with all of the changes, what is the most exciting part? Building new homes of course!
The excitement coming back into the office after the holiday weekend was that we have two new reservations! One is in Thistle Hill, Lot number 28, the other is in South Village on Lot number 34. What great news to welcome us all back to the office. Our design team is busily working with these clients to decide on floor plans and try to fully evolve their ideas into plans.
We still have lots of other things going on, too. Trusses went onto the duplex that is going up in South Village. The single family home going under construction in South Village is getting painted on the interior right now. Framing is underway on the duplex in Thistle Hill. Insulation is in on a single family home in Thistle Hill, where-as they are on the finishing touches of the other single family home in Thistle Hill. Exciting times with lots going on.
So, whether the excitement in your life this September is a child starting pre-school, a teenager’s first Varsity soccer game, your first-born going to college, if it is watching the Red Sox play fall ball, or the Patriots start the season. Maybe it is that you love fall foliage, or maybe you just can’t wait to get on the mountain this fall. There are all sorts of things to look forward to with the changing seasons and amongst those things, there is the fact that some really great people are going to be either moving into, or patiently awaiting the closing date, on their new home.
